Solgar Prenatal Nutrients is a comprehensive multivitamin and mineral formula specifically designed to support the nutritional needs of pregnant and breastfeeding women. Delivering 25 key nutrients per serving, including folate, iron, calcium, iodine, and a full spectrum of B vitamins, it provides targeted nutritional support during one of the most demanding periods of a woman’s life. Each serving of four tablets supplies 800 mcg of folic acid (equivalent to 1,333 mcg DFE), 27 mg of iron as highly bioavailable ferrous bisglycinate chelate, 1,300 mg of calcium, and 150 mcg of iodine. Iodine contributes to normal thyroid function and normal production of thyroid hormones, while calcium is needed for the maintenance of normal bones and teeth. Vitamin D contributes to normal absorption and utilisation of calcium and phosphorus, and magnesium contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism.
