Swanson Vitamin D-3 with Coconut Oil delivers 2000 IU (50 µg) of cholecalciferol — the same form of vitamin D naturally produced by the body upon sun exposure — in a convenient once- or twice-daily softgel. Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system, the maintenance of normal bones, normal muscle function, and the normal absorption and utilisation of calcium and phosphorus.
Each softgel is blended with 1 g of coconut oil, providing a natural fat matrix. The coconut oil used also supplies the medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) listed among the ingredients, making this a thoughtfully formulated combination.
